The Black Tower is a user organization on Dragonmount. It focuses on entertainment reviews and gaming, and it features its own dice-based battle system. The Black Tower is currently headed by Tayol and Webmastered by Vanion.

Ranking System
Members of the Black Tower participate in various activities in order to achieve ranks. Ranks are based on "elemental" levels, which represent various aspects of the fight system. The elements are based on the Five Powers of saidin and saidar. A member advances his or her levels by earning and spending points. These ranks allow the users to gain new abilities in One Power Fights. The Black Tower features seven unique ranks:
Civilian
Civilians are essentially raw recruits to the Black Tower. Any user who signs up and earns points is automatically granted the status of Civilian. As a civilian, you may not join any faction within the Tower. Civilians tend to spend most of their time trying to earn points from higher ranking members in order to increase their Elemental Levels and rise through the ranks.
Soldier
When a member earns enough points to raise two elements to level 2, one to level 3, and two to level 4, he or she is granted the rank of Soldier. A Soldier of the Black Tower may choose to join either the Shadow Faction, or the Light Faction. Each faction has it's own pro's and con's, so the choice is ultimately a matter of where your preferences lay.
Dedicated
Dedicated status is awarded when a member raises three elements to level 5 and the other two to level 8. A Dedicated is one step below an Asha'man. At this point the member has demonstrated their loyalty to the Tower and their dedication to the Organization as a whole. The Dedicated are expected to show a certain level of maturity within the Organization so that they can set an example for newer members.
Asha'man
A member who raises two elements to level 7, one to level 10, and the remaining two to level 13 is promoted to the rank of Asha'man. Asha'man is the highest rank a member may gain through elemental improvement.
Attack Leader
Attack Leaders are members of Asha'man rank who are given special jobs in the community.
Storm Leader
Storm Leaders are a step up from Attack Leaders. They have demonstrated that they are committed to the organization long term and exercise a degree of executive power on the organization's forum.
Faction Leader
The Black Tower organization is split into two factions: the Dark and the Light. Each faction is led by a member with the title M'hael and Logain, respectively. Marjan (also known as Roka Smrti) currently leads the Dark, and the organization leader, Tayol, currently leads the Light.
